In the beginning of our story of Hon’Raa, we find a world descending from a world of peace to one of chaos and violence. Dark forces lurk everywhere and the Kingdoms that had once untied to defeat Arbane and her forces in Hon’Raa now begin to falter and fight. The Kingdom of Ond’aa once held a vast portion of the eastern continent, but with time some Ond’aans wanted became disenchanted with the Ond’aan culture.
A portion of Ond’aans knowns Asp’aan elves were gifted with both male and female features. They saw themselves as superior to regular Ond’aans, since they felt they embodied the image of the gods who created them. In the Northern reaches of the Kingdom of Ond’aan where many of the Asp’aans lived, a young Asp’aan Priestess began to stir dissent and gained popularity among the other Asp’aan elves. They began rejecting the old ways and soon there was a call by the Asp’aan elves to separate themselves from the Kingdom of Ond’aa.
Lera, the Queen of Ond’aa tried to keep the Kingdom together, but the Priestess Eress attacked the Sacred Grove, burning the Mirewood Tree, making a peaceful resolve impossible. Now, the Kingdom is split and a brutal civil war is waged between the two factions. Dark forces have taken advantage of the war as the two sides fight to hold dominion over the sacred realm.
