At the Velvet Noir club there are three games available to play – Chess, Black Jack, and Rolling. Each should be played in groups unless it is a more casual part of local conversation.
Chess
The Chess table in the room is more than just for looks. Anyone can play by using the following info to setup and play a game against anyone in the room.
- Set up a “Private Game” – I recommend the 30 Minute Game or the No Time Limit Game
- Once gameboard appears, copy page link
- Share that link with whoever you want to play.
- Game starts once they choose their side (only one is open)
Black Jack
Black Jack is a roll based game where each player tries to get closest to 21 without going over.
How to Play
- Roll is based on 11 so players enter command “/roll11” (without quotations)
- Like in real Black Jack an Ace (11) equals 1 or 11 – player’s choice
- A roll of 11 and a roll 10 in any order as first two player rolls is Black Jack. If no other player as a hand equaling 21, then the player rolling a Black Jack wins the round.
- Each player goes in order and rolls to 21.
- On Player 1’s turn, she rolls until she stands or busts
- Roll 1: 10
- Rolls 2: 3
- Roll 3: 5
- Player stands on 18
- Next player rolls to get their total.
- On Player 1’s turn, she rolls until she stands or busts
- Closest to 21 each round, Wins that round.
- Settling ties. Each player rolls – high roll wins the hand.
- Optional Play: A faster variant is that each player uses the roll command “/roll21”
Dice
Dice is just a roll based game to 100. This can use either the built in roll to 100 or the command prompt – /roll100. High roll wins each round.
