Velvet Noir has club rules that members are expected to follow to allow all members to enjoy their time at the club.

Dress Code

The dress code for Velvet Noir is formal-elegant. Both men and women are expected to dress for the occasion of visiting the Velvet Noir. It’s a night out…dress accordingly. A member who is not dressed appropriately will be asked to change.

Consequences: A member who is not following the club’s dress code will be asked to change. If a member refuses, the club will escort them to their dressing room for 10 minutes. Each additional offense will result in a longer break from the club up to and including loss of their member status.

Gaming in Group Chat

There are 3 games that can be played at The Velvet Noir – Rolling, Black Jack and Chess. If these games are played by a large group and more competitively, please create a group for that specific game so that it does not spam local. If you are interested in playing there is a “how-to” post on this website.

Consequences: Player’s who games become intrusive to local dialogue will be asked to create a group for the game. Failure to comply will result in being asked to leave the club. (See Spamming local)

Sexual Intercourse at the Club

Public displays of affection are allowed anywhere in the club, but the club asks that members restrict sexual intimacy to the upstairs gentlemen’s lounge. Couples violating this rule will be asked to either move to the upstairs lounge or refrain from the behavior in the public areas.

Consequences: A couple or individual that refuses to comply with this rule or continually violates this rule will be asked to leave for a period of time. Habitual offenders risk revocation of their membership at the club.

Harassment

The Velvet Noir is a safe space environment. As with the Lake, harassment of any member is strictly forbidden. Violations in the local forum have a ZERO tolerance policy. Harassment in private are also forbidden and if proper documentation of abuse is provided consequences will be applied.

Consequences: Harassment of a severe and demeaning nature with malicious intent will be met with immediate revocation of membership privileges. Lesser degree infractions will be met with a warning and if the behavior is ongoing or repeated, then longer suspensions will be issued up to and including revocation of member rights.

Spamming Local

Repetitive chatter in local or an individual or group who take over local with a private conversation will be asked to move their conversation to a PM. This includes roleplay or sex in local and can include gaming if it becomes intrusive.

Consequences: Members who are spamming will be asked to stop and/or move their conversation to a PM. For those who refuse the request, they will be asked to leave and if they do not comply will be escorted out.

Politics and Religion

These two topics should be avoided in the local forum. Violations will be issued a warning. Consequences listed in under lesser degree infractions from the Harassment & Drama section will be issued for repeated violations of this policy.

All other 3DX game rules apply. Members should take appropriate reporting action if they experience a rules violation directed at them.
